Minister Nelson Johnson is a prominent civil rights activist, pastor, and community leader based in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Beloved Community Center of Greensboro, which is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and justice through various initiatives, including community organizing and promoting social and economic justice. A pivotal moment in his life was the Greensboro Massacre on November 3, 1979, when five protesters were killed by members of the Ku Klux Klan and the American Nazi Party.
